For starters, I went to Japan! The decision was made little more than a year ago that in about a year to two years I NEEDED to be graduated and abroad in Japan, teaching English. This more or less killed my online presence as every quarter became 6-7 class quarters just to graduate on time.
The past few months have been moving in and getting started on my job, aaaadmittedly at a pretty terrible time. But things are starting to settle, one way or another, and free time is starting to slowly but surely creep back into my life. So aside from an OBCENE amount of Animal Crossing, what do I do with it?
Well here’s the thing–the Tumblr rp scene doesn’t seem to be…around as much? Hit me up if you know where everyone went, but it seems to have more or less evaporated up in here, which I totally understand. Being in a different timezone though, I don’t always have the time for realtime dash rp like I used to. While getting back into threads and plots could be very fun, a lot of the rapid fire stuff that required a lot of timing to be done well isn’t an option for me anymore.
So currently, my answer to all that is Discord! I’ve got a pretty active discord life, compared to any other form of media. While Tumblr might be used for some rping for the grand majority of work it’ll mainly be used to keep up with other rpers and post some update art or content relevant to what’s going on. I still want to continue stories, interactions, the whole shebang–but now, Tumblr is not the most convenient way to do that.
So if you’re interested in rping frequently again, Send me a message and I can give you my Discord name! I won’t be outright quitting Tumblr rp but for consistent and speedy contact, discord is the way to go. I have been having lots of fun adventures with my muses and I intend to have a lot more. But to have as many of you on board as possible, I wanna shift attention to where the magic is really happening these days.
I can’t wait to catch up and see you all again! I’ve missed you all!

So, just as a quick point of clarity: While I’m working to get all the blogs I had running back up to finish their stories, I am not, per say, getting the Timeline back into gear. I learned my lesson last time–a Timeline was not what I was prepared for nor what I wanted. It proved to be more than I bargained for last time, and left a lot of good rpers waving in the wind. To those people: Thank you so much for taking that journey with me, and I hope the rp scene since has treated you better.
As for the story, the plan’s this; Sleeper’s Dream will keep its name, but it’s no longer really a timeline. Rp blogs are attached to it for sure, and interaction is totally encouraged across the board, but its mainly a group of writers wrapping this plot up. Bout time too, right?
I know that some people started off with Sleepers rp blogs, but since there’s been a nearly two year hiatus, I super duper hope that you guys have gone on to do bigger and better things since then. I don’t really intend to get the old gang back together or anything, but if you have any questions, associated muses or lingering attachments to the timeline, feel free to dm me and we can touch base. Even if we aren’t in the same ‘timeline’ or anything, I’d still love to be friends!
So if you see Sleepers blogs popping up, please know that they aren’t myriad timeline blogs–they’re Tumblr manifestations of a small group of writers rounding the story out and operating independently to tell whatever stories they’d like to tell while this baby winds down. They aren’t beholden to me or the timeline, but might want to make a point of sharing associated background in Sleepers because its set up is so specific.
With that said, I can’t wait to finish out the Sleeper’s stories. Thank you for your patience, your love, and everything this place has taught me.
Since a lot of time has passed, I wanted to put this post out to see who still wanted to say they had ties to this blog or its associated timeline. This goes especially for ex-Sleeper rpers–I assume that all yall are now indie, but I wanna be sure.
Like if you want to keep whatever pre-established relationship that was had, comment for specifics. After a week, I’ll see where we’re at.
While on paper the idea is that their bot is going to only get rid of NSFW stuff, the Flagging AI is already flagging things like flesh colored animals or the word “titties”. So even though I’ve been away from the RP scene for a while due to school and work, I can only imagine that the RP fandom is at least partially trying to decide if they’ll stay here or move.
If the consensus is move, please let me know where I can find you/where all the cool kids are gonna be going! I’d love to try to get back into the swing come 2019, but I’d most specifically love to be able to find you guys again.

So I thought I was gonna get more availability during summer. I was apparently really wrong! So because of that–but NOT wanting to stay on Hiatus forever–This Chick is now prioritizing muses!
I’ll try to find a way to notify people if it’s a high activity day, or a low one depending on how much work I have. I DO want to get back into it but, as each of these announcements over the past few months has shown, it’s way harder than it merits being. I hope to see you guys soon, this time!
